A summer of portraits... it's been challenging!

Some have flowed, and some have left me doubting I should be allowed anywhere near a paintbrush! 😅

I've been stuck for weeks... unable to paint or create... autistic inertia, it's so hard to break free once it hits!

I don't feel like me when I'm not painting... everything just feels a little off kilter!

Today, I finally managed to paint, not expecting it to be a masterpiece... I'm just thankful to be back at my easel, creating 🙏 ❤️

I love an early morning sky🧡

Me and Daisy 🐕‍🦺 have been blessed with some stunning sunrises on our early morning walks lately 🌄🌞

Today's walk was followed by a morning swim lesson... I can't quite believe how much I look forward to these and how much I enjoy them!

I find the lessons very challenging (my teacher probably does, too 😅)... every new thing I learn kind of makes the last thing disappear for a while 😅 so it feels a bit like 2 steps forward... 1 step back!

But I'm making progress, and that's the main thing... when I think back to where I was in February, I've come a long way... something I definitely need to keep reminding myself of 😊🏊‍♀️

I could watch the clouds forever... the sky is never the same. It changes minute to minute.

And for someone who thrives on sameness and rigid routines, it feels strangely comforting.

There's something about watching something constantly change, knowing that somehow... it's still always the sky.
