Since I was a child, I've always loved the architecture of these buildings.

The shapes, the colours, the texture of the stone... the quirkiness of the towers.

They caught my attention big style! 👀

Painting it... I wanted to look beyond the familiar perceptions of this place and explore the things I’ve always loved about it.

At its heart, I feel there will always be optimism and resilience... represented by the two yellows. 💛

Determination... held within the deep blue. 💙

And, of course, love and strength... found in the crimson red. ❤️

I guess, sometimes... it's not just about what we see in a place, but what we choose to see in it ❤️

Work tomorrow... but hopefully, I'll crack on with it at the weekend 🤞

A good afternoon painting... 🎨❤️

Singing along to Lucy Spraggan... letting the ink take me wherever it wants to go, and just enjoying the process without worrying about the outcome.

The Colour Story... evolving!

It started with people, exploring how colour can capture a personality... a vibe, an essence.

How, for me... the colours I choose can say something that my words can't.

But then I started thinking... why should it just be people who have a vibe, a story to tell?

A place, a landscape, a moment... there's still that sense of something beyond what you see... something you feel, rather than simply look at.

I'm exploring, experimenting, and letting The Colour Story take me wherever it wants to go.

No expectations, no pressure... just curiosity, colour, and the freedom to see what happens without worrying about the outcome. 💙

Lost In The Blue

Sometimes, the best place to lose yourself is in the water.

Away from the noise of everyday life.

Away from the expectations, the to-do lists, and the constant thinking.

Just you, the water, the sky… and a little space to simply be.

There's something about wild water that can make the world feel a little quieter.

Whether it's the movement of the water, the vastness of the sea, or that feeling of being completely immersed in the moment.

Sometimes you don't need to find anything.

You just need to let yourself get lost for a while. 💙

This one's still a work in progress, but I'm loving where those blues are taking me!
