We're looking forward to the Festival Of The Sea this weekend.

🎡 THE FUN FAIR IS COMING TO TOWN THIS WEEKEND! 🎡Get ready for some serious family fun because Taylor’s Fun Fair is setting up at the ADEB site for the Festival of the Sea! From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the fair will be packed with excitement, laughter, and incredible rides for all ages.

FEATURING:The spectacular Royal Ferris Wheel! Take a ride to the top and enjoy the best views of the quayside.

TRAVEL & PARKING INFO:There is NO car parking available on-site, so please plan ahead:

FREE Shuttle Bus: Park up at Morrisons car park and hop on the free bus straight to the fun fair! Walk the Quay: Enjoy a nice, scenic walk down the quayside to get to the site.Gather the kids, invite your friends, and don't miss out on the best rides in town this weekend!

We have a limited number of the brand new Rapido USATC S160 2-8-0 locomotives available to purchase.

Designed by Major J. W. Marsh from the Railway Branch of the Corps of Engineers, the S160 had to fit the more restrictive loading gauge of the UK. They had to be easy to build, quick to repair and reliable. Constructed in the United States in multiple batches from 1942 to 1945, they were split between the ALCO, Baldwin, and Lima Locomotive Works. Collectively, almost 800 locomotives were shipped to the UK. Landing mainly in Newport, South Wales, as well as Birkenhead, Glasgow and London, the locomotives passed through major workshops before being sent on to their respective railway companies.

Continuing our theme of Christmas in July, we forecast snow for the Transport Festival when Alisdair & Graham travel from Chester to bring their atmospheric layout 'Bred Albin' to our shop for a one day mini exhibition.
Well also have upstairs@craftyhobbies open selling books & bus models on behalf of Barrow Transport Group.
