Hi all, something new for you to see today. I made my first heat pack as a request for a Christmas present and tried it out to check I was happy with it. I now have two just for us, and I use it more than I ever thought I would. They are 5x9 inches, rice filled and can be heated in a microwave or cooled in the freezer and we have found them useful for:

Period pain
Migraine
Back pain
Earache
Bumps and bruises (cold)
High temperature (cold)
Sunburn (cold)

Also, they are lovely to warm your feet back up after a winter walk, or placed from the freezer onto your neck on a hot day. You can have them scented with lavender or jasmine oils too for an extra touch of luxury.

£8 each, or we have 4x4 inch square handwarmers (2pk £4) available to order in any of our gorgeous in stock cottons. Free local delivery or postage at cost.

Every purchase means a donation of cloth pads to a local Fare Share scheme too 🙂

Today is International Women's Day, which is a celebration of all things female across the world.

But I want to celebrate my own personal bunch of lovelies; the strong, passionate and talented businesswomen that inspire and motivate me every day. This business is here because of them, their practical help, counselling and enthusiasm and I'm so grateful for it.

With one eye on Mother's Day (yes it is only a week away!) we'd like to show you one of our gift sets, and a collaboration with one of my personal favourite local businesses.

The set includes the following in any of our current in stock fabrics:

A Drawstring Makeup Bag, lined with waterproof fabric with drawstring and velcro closure.

2 Scrub Cloths, which are soft cotton one side and exfoliating loofah fabric on the other, perfect for the bath or shower.

6 Washable Face Pads, 3 fleece for applying lotion and 3 towelling for removing makeup and cleansing.

1 Beautiful Soap. This is from the incredible Bioaroma at Vitalize Wales and is cruelty free, entirely natural and vegan. It also smells, looks and feels like absolute luxury. Available in a choice of flavours: Rose, Jasmine or Lemon. If you have no preference I'll choose the flavour which looks best with your fabric choice.

1 drawstring washbag. Made of cotton fishnet fabric, for keeping your little washables together in the washing machine or tumble drier.

Breast Pads Sets £8, featuring 5 pairs in a coordinating drawstring bag.

The pads are cotton topped with a superabsorbent Zorb core. The waterproof backing is breathable PUL. In terms of care, you can wash these in a machine, and tumble dry on medium. Please avoid using fabric softener as it makes absorbent fabrics less absorbent over time.

Quilting cotton is an uncommon choice for breast pads, with most using towelling or flannel. But I found (during my own pretty extensive breastfeeding stints) that anything fluffy sticks to the skin and that peeling anything off a sore ni**le is absolutely not okay 😫😲🤣. So that's why cotton is an option available here.

We do also stock flannel, so if you prefer that then please just ask.

Wet bags ❤️

So handy, for cloth pads, nappies or swimwear.

These are approximately 12x8 inches, with a main pocket which is made with waterproof PUL, and a cotton pocket to the side. The main bag closes with velcro and the side pocket features snap fasteners.

There's also a handy snap fastener handle so you can hang your bag on a coat hook, school peg, stroller, or behind your bathroom door.

They are easy to care for, being wipe clean, but in case of serious soiling they are machine washable and can be tumble dried on a medium heat.

Fabric options include black, blue or pink for. The main body and any of our lovely cotton prints for the side pocket and handle.

All this customisable loveliness is just £8 alone and also included in our Cloth Pad Starter Pack.

Hello and welcome to the second incarnation of Little Cloth Shop. It's been an interesting month, my personal Facebook account got hacked and I got locked out. As the only admin on the original business page I'm locked out of that too. So here we are, a shiny new beginning.

The ethos here is the same, we want to give you beautiful products which benefit the environment and the community. I donate pads to value of every purchase to the Big Bocs Bwyd, a local Fare Share Scheme. Period poverty is holding people back, and we want to do our little bit in helping to fix it. Many foodbanks give out disposables, but they are a short term solution to a long term problem. Cloth Sanitary Protection lasts years, so it's a long term solution giving real security to people who need it.

So shop, ask questions, make requests for whatever you'd like to see. I'm happy to answer questions on here, via Messenger or text me anonymously if you like on 07543844301 if you feel more comfortable.
