we sell a range of new and reconditioned cycles and reconditioned scooters all of which are guaranteed
we offer a free local collection and delivery service on all scooter and cycle repairs other areas for a reasonable fee

Ride a bike originally opened in 1974 on fleetgate Barton , we bought the Methodist. Chapel on waterside road Barton in 1998 as a warehouse and relocated the shop to here in 2002 creating much more retail space, chris then introduced mobility scooters in 2020 and finally moved to our new premises in February 2023 which allowed us to sell the chapel so John finally retired after 49years passing the cycle business down to his son Chris who worked along side him since leaving school to run along side his mobility business

To all past present and future customers of ride a bike Barton we have heard some rumours circulating about us closing down
We would just like to inform you this isn’t the case at all we staying in business we are just relocating locally in the new year details of this will be shared nearer the moving time

We are very much open business as usual still with a large range of new and reconditioned bikes for sale
We offer a repair service and sell accessories
We can still store your bikes from us to a bit closer to Christmas
