To help you choose the right rod
3lb tc .. a good all round rod,max lead weight for casting 3oz , this is a great choice for anyone fishing small intimate lakes , canals or where there is no snags or minimum w**d.
3.5lbTC .. this is probably the “all round” rod for the average angler, it can put a lead at well over 100yards (max lead weight 4oz) light bag work on shorter casts , fishing correctly and safely suitable for fishing near snags , a stiffer butt and responsive tip makes it the no1 choice for the all round angler .
3.75lb TC .. (13ft only) this is a beast of a rod, bag work, distance work, fishing for big fish in snaggy/w**dy waters .. this is a workhorse rod with the finesse of the lighter rods and a favourite of many customers and nearly all team members have a set of these in their armoury … 5oz casing weight with over 200yrds achieved ( in the right hands)
