When you wanted to sort the kiln out the night before you’re due to go away, but your husband talks you out of it because it was 8:45pm.

So instead you clean the cooker hood and mop the kitchen floor 😫

Gratitude Post 🙏

Phew, as most kids return to school this week and routines start to take shape again we would once again like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that came to visit us throughout the summer and the constant support you give our little family business.

That said we also need to say a HUGE heartfelt thank you to our amazing superstar staff who have worked so blimming hard throughout the summer. 😮‍💨

Without our staff and those who also volunteer their time to help the studios wouldn’t be what they are. 🤩

We hope the memories made last a lifetime ☺️

Family Break

We have been working flat out throughout the summer juggling studios and family life, we now need a break ourselves.

BOTH studios will be CLOSED

Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th September

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we will be back to term opening from Wednesday 16th September.

****During this break we will not be responding to messages, so if you want to know what’s happening with your painted pottery we will message you when it’s ready for collection on our return to work****

Being put next to a sweet treat stall is hell, hell on earth right now. Trying to suppress every ounce of me wanting to buy one of everything. The excuses are strong right now - it’s the weekend, have a day off, just a little treat. Oh gosh send help, please Fun day at Runwell Sports & Social club SS11 7QA. Will I last until 4pm without caving???

Behind the scenes…..3 hours of work in just under 3 minutes.

Not every day is like this after work, but certainly around the holidays there is lots of catching up to do and keeping ontop of the painted pottery our lovely Craft Shed customers have painted is top priority.

I could have stayed another hour at Fobbing to glaze another double tables worth, but having spent the majority of my day on my feet I decided an early morning start will do.

So I will back with Jane early tomorrow to glaze as she will be too hot to open first thing 🥵

Both studios are closed today. Here are our opening hours for this week as schools start to return 😁

Monday 31st - Closed
Tuesday 1st - 10-5pm
Wednesday 2nd - 10-3pm
Thursday 3rd - 10-3pm
Friday 4th - 10-3pm
Saturday 5th - 10-5pm
Sunday 6th - 10-4pm (Fobbing only)

Walk ins welcome but bookings take priority
