🚨 Right then… apparently Rodzilla owners now require air support. 🚨

Malcolm Proctor came to us with a completely normal and reasonable request…

“Can you make my Rodzilla carry a DJI Neo 2 drone setup?”

Because clearly just carrying rods, fly boxes, and half a tackle shop wasn’t enough anymore. 😂

Now… this one was an absolute nightmare but in a fun way.

To make something fit properly we ideally needed the actual drone in hand… which we DIDN’T have. So this became a full blown engineering experiment involving online dimensions, scaling photos like forensic investigators and enough failed prototypes to start our own recycling centre. 😅

BUT…

After far too many hours and several moments of “this is never going to work”…

We’ve done it. 👀🔥

Introducing the Rodzilla DJI Neo 2 setup:

✅ Fully detachable rear mounting bracket
– Bolts directly onto the side mounting points
– Rock solid once fitted
– Fully removable when you inevitably decide to strap something even more ridiculous to it later

✅ Custom slimline hard drone case
– Magnetic lid
– Proper snug fit for the Neo 2 and antennae
– No rattling around like a Kinder Egg toy in a washing machine

✅ Modified fly box insert
– Because apparently flies are old news
– Now holds 3 spare drone batteries neatly inside 👌

We’re still waiting on Malcolm’s photos of the full setup loaded up properly…

But for now… here’s the teaser shot of the caddy with the case installed 😎

Honestly at this point Rodzilla is about 3 upgrades away from becoming a Transformer.

So… what next?

Keep watching as the recently released dock could be more than just something to screw to your garage wall.

We still have a shortage on the forest green filament😢

but

I have sourced a few trial rolls of a carbon fibre reinforced green filament, going to do some test prints and report back, it will not significantly alter the weight but it might look damn good.👀🔥

So naturally we took a simple idea and completely over-engineered it 😎🔥

Introducing…
💀 THE RODZILLA DOCK 💀

Originally inspired by Tony Hall, who wanted a way to mount his Rodzilla onto his Milwaukee-style tackle box for loch fishing without carrying rods around like a confused octopus 🐙🎣

And honestly… once we started prototyping it, things escalated quickly 👀🔥

🦖 Mount it vertically on your tackle box
🦖 Wheel your setup straight to the boat like a tackle warlord
🦖 Mount it on your garage wall for the cleanest Rodzilla storage setup around
🦖 Or mount it horizontally and keep fully made-up rods locked and loaded 😮⚡

No more:
❌ rods thrown in corners
❌ balancing setups against walls
❌ “carefully” laying £££ rods on the floor
❌ looking like you’re moving house every fishing trip

This thing is SIMPLE… but also kinda dangerous… because now our brains are running away with ideas 👀🧠🔥

Because here’s the question…

Is the Dock JUST a mount… 🤔

…or is this the start of a whole modular Rodzilla ecosystem with future attachments, upgrades and stupidly cool add-ons coming later? 😈🦖⚙️

🔥 SAFE TO SAY THE TROUT DIDN’T STAND A CHANCE TODAY… 🔥

Massive session from Owen Bufton, son of the one and only Andrew Bufton — the man responsible for tying some absolutely deadly flies 🎣💀

Judging by this haul, Andrew’s patterns were clearly doing unspeakable things underwater again… the trout must’ve seen those flies and simply accepted their fate 😅

Catching that many fish is one thing… carrying them, rods, gear and everything else back round the lake is another story entirely 👀

Luckily the Rodzilla was on hand to make the mission that little bit easier 💪🎣

Firstly, the boring stuff… 😩

Forest Green PETG filament is currently unavailable from our supplier, so we are having a few supply issues on Green builds at the moment.

We do have plenty of other colours available, but I know how much you lot love the Green setups 👀

We are working hard to source a suitable replacement whilst the supplier tries to get stock back in, and we’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we have a reliable option locked in.

In the meantime, this might be the perfect excuse to build something a little different… 😎🔥

So whilst the rest of the world is busy pumping out boring fishing accessories… we’ve been locked away designing TWO brand new modular Rodzilla add-ons 😎

And when we say modular… we mean PROPER Rodzilla modular.
Fully upgradeable.
Fully interchangeable.
Fully capable of making your current setup look like it skipped leg day 💪😂

Now obviously we’re not just going to come straight out and show the whole thing… where’s the drama in that?

So for now… here’s a little teaser shot of ONE small part from ONE of the new accessories currently being tested 👀🔥

We’ll happily take the credit for making and designing it… BUT we can’t take credit for the original idea on this one.

🔥 Rodzilla Translucent Range – Just Landed 🔥

Here we are… the Rodzilla Translucent Range we hinted at previously is finally here.

We’ve been having far too much fun mixing and matching colours, and the results are absolutely 🔥

These things look insane in the sunlight… but even on those classic grey rainy fishing days they still pop and show off the internal structure of the print.

The best bit… every part can be mixed and matched:

☀️ Sun’s out… and apparently so is our inner 12-year-old.

We looked at the sunshine and thought…

“What if the base was translucent?”

So we printed one.

And now we can’t stop staring at it.

When the sun hits it, you can see the infill pattern glowing through the base like it’s been plugged into the mains. It’s basically Rodzilla… but with X-ray vision.

Does it make you catch more fish?
Probably not.

Does it look ridiculously cool on the bank?
Absolutely.
