👀 RODZILLA’S BEEN QUIET… TOO QUIET.

Don’t worry, we haven’t gone soft.

We’ve been busy making things louder, greener and a bit more ridiculous.

💚 First up — after far too much messing about sourcing the right shade, we’ve finally nailed a new green that prints properly and looks absolutely savage.

Pictures coming soon.

We’ve also changed the way we print the Rodzilla itself.

The logo is now a separate badge recessed into the front of the caddy, which means it can be printed in a completely different colour to the main body, see pictures below.

Black caddy. Lime badge.
Grey caddy. Orange badge.
Pink and green if you’re that way inclined.

Your Rodzilla. Your problem. 😂

🎣 AND NOW… THE RODZILLA CARRY BAG.

Black drawstring bag, big enough for a 4-Rod Rodzilla, finished with the Rodzilla logo in that lime green.

And before anyone asks…

No, we haven’t just ordered a load of branded bags off the internet.

We buy the plain bags in, but then we do the rest ourselves.

✂️ We cut the heat-transfer vinyl ourselves.
🔥 We press the logo ourselves.
📦 We finish them ourselves.

No mass-produced tat. No outsourced branding. Just us making more work for ourselves.

🚨 FULL-COLOUR UV PRINTING IS COMING.

Our new UV printer is on the way and, once we’ve figured out which buttons not to press, we should be able to print full-colour designs directly onto the top of the Rodzilla caddy.

Not 3D printed.

Actual full-colour ink.

Logos. Graphics. Artwork. Custom designs.

If it works the way we expect, it’s going to open up a ridiculous amount of customisation.

It’ll be an optional extra, priced on request, and as soon as we’ve had a play with the machine and stopped pretending we know what we’re doing, we’ll start posting some examples.

We’ll also be running a promo competition once we’re up and running.

🦖 It was about time Rodzilla got himself a little mascot… 😎

Meet Baby Rodzilla.

Not quite as terrifying as Daddy Rodzilla yet, but give him time… he’s already got the attitude, the teeth, and absolutely zero respect for personal space. 🤣

For scale, the big lad next to him is Daddy Rodzilla, which took just over 4 days of printing to bring to life. Layer by layer, hour after hour, and more than a little patience.

The original plan was simply to print a small desk companion for the office…

Now we’re not entirely sure if these two should stay as one-offs or whether a few more might accidentally find their way into existence. 👀

No promises.

🚨 Right then… apparently Rodzilla owners now require air support. 🚨

Malcolm Proctor came to us with a completely normal and reasonable request…

“Can you make my Rodzilla carry a DJI Neo 2 drone setup?”

Because clearly just carrying rods, fly boxes, and half a tackle shop wasn’t enough anymore. 😂

Now… this one was an absolute nightmare but in a fun way.

To make something fit properly we ideally needed the actual drone in hand… which we DIDN’T have. So this became a full blown engineering experiment involving online dimensions, scaling photos like forensic investigators and enough failed prototypes to start our own recycling centre. 😅

BUT…

After far too many hours and several moments of “this is never going to work”…

We’ve done it. 👀🔥

Introducing the Rodzilla DJI Neo 2 setup:

✅ Fully detachable rear mounting bracket
– Bolts directly onto the side mounting points
– Rock solid once fitted
– Fully removable when you inevitably decide to strap something even more ridiculous to it later

✅ Custom slimline hard drone case
– Magnetic lid
– Proper snug fit for the Neo 2 and antennae
– No rattling around like a Kinder Egg toy in a washing machine

✅ Modified fly box insert
– Because apparently flies are old news
– Now holds 3 spare drone batteries neatly inside 👌

We’re still waiting on Malcolm’s photos of the full setup loaded up properly…

But for now… here’s the teaser shot of the caddy with the case installed 😎

Honestly at this point Rodzilla is about 3 upgrades away from becoming a Transformer.

So… what next?

Keep watching as the recently released dock could be more than just something to screw to your garage wall.

We still have a shortage on the forest green filament😢

but

I have sourced a few trial rolls of a carbon fibre reinforced green filament, going to do some test prints and report back, it will not significantly alter the weight but it might look damn good.👀🔥

💀 THE RODZILLA DOCK 💀

Originally inspired by Tony Hall, who wanted a way to mount his Rodzilla onto his Milwaukee-style tackle box for loch fishing without carrying rods around like a confused octopus 🐙🎣

And honestly… once we started prototyping it, things escalated quickly 👀🔥

🦖 Mount it vertically on your tackle box
🦖 Wheel your setup straight to the boat like a tackle warlord
🦖 Mount it on your garage wall for the cleanest Rodzilla storage setup around
🦖 Or mount it horizontally and keep fully made-up rods locked and loaded 😮⚡

No more:
❌ rods thrown in corners
❌ balancing setups against walls
❌ “carefully” laying £££ rods on the floor
❌ looking like you’re moving house every fishing trip

This thing is SIMPLE… but also kinda dangerous… because now our brains are running away with ideas 👀🧠🔥

Because here’s the question…

Is the Dock JUST a mount… 🤔

🔥 SAFE TO SAY THE TROUT DIDN’T STAND A CHANCE TODAY… 🔥

Massive session from Owen Bufton, son of the one and only Andrew Bufton — the man responsible for tying some absolutely deadly flies 🎣💀

Judging by this haul, Andrew’s patterns were clearly doing unspeakable things underwater again… the trout must’ve seen those flies and simply accepted their fate 😅

Catching that many fish is one thing… carrying them, rods, gear and everything else back round the lake is another story entirely 👀

Luckily the Rodzilla was on hand to make the mission that little bit easier 💪🎣

Proper result lads 👏
