Well it’s been a funny few weeks here, I was taken ill and had to have an op and then the dreaded school bubble burst and we had to home school again!

Luckily things are getting back to normal and I was able to hand deliver this little beauty yesterday!

The most gorgeous custom colours for this beautiful Birthday banner along with co-ordinating name banners for two lucky sisters who are going to be celebrating their birthdays in style for years to come.

Thank you so much to those who were effected by the slightly longer turn around time while I’ve had to take it slow.

I’ve stopped taking new orders for a few weeks while I catch up but I’ll open again in August and there’s some new items on their way too.

Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing father figures who inspire, support and encourage.

Celebrating you today and everyday.

The children planted a little bulb and chose Kendall Mint Cake to celebrate their daddy.
We found a map to wrap it in and decorated the pot with car stickers- Little things made with love.

We’ll be seeing family and swimming with the kids- oh and whipping up some Father’s Day cards for the OH last minute- sorry Pete 🙈

I’ll be finishing up some banner orders ready for the post first thing Monday morning.

Who said weekends were for relaxing! lol

Loving this sunshine and warm weather!
Especially when we’re still doing most of our entertaining outside🙈 it feels so much more natural then being huddled up in blankets on the patio 😂

Come rain or shine we’ll be celebrating some special birthdays in the next month and I can’t wait to show off my new bunting ☺️

Little heads up for Father’s Day on the 20th June, you can restring your ‘happy birthday’ banner to spell “Papa”!

A super simple gesture (using something you already have) that will make dad feel really special.

Kids back at school and I’m channeling all the sunny vibes from our lovely week off into these happy little banners.

Trouble is they’re making me think of ice cream at 0930, definitely too early for a break- but struggling to shake off ‘holiday mode’ 😅

Do you keep decorations to use again or buy new every time?

When my kids were little I started to store the decorations from their parties.
Partly for sentimental reasons and partly because I was sure they’d come in handy for next year.

I soon leant kids tastes change fast!!

Most of the themed items became redundant but I went back to the simple designs again and again using them to compliment their new tastes.

Now I save the themed items for things I can’t keep, like the cake, paper plates and napkins, party bags and balloons.

It feels lovely to put up our decorations every birthday and they’re now full of memories as well as saving me money and precious time in the lead up to every birthday.

If you saw my stories earlier you got a look at the new birthday banners.

I have so many BIG ideas in my head about what I’m trying to create with these interchangeable banners that it’s pretty overwhelming!
It’s why I’ve been MIA so long!

So I’m starting small and expanding as I go. Well that’s the plan.
