Hey all. Been away from the bench for a good few weeks due to commitments outside the hobby. And the horrendous heat. It's not fun in the mancave during this weather. But I've started a new project this week 😁. I loved the 1/24 version so much I've now decided to start the 1/12 version. This is going to be painted as the race number two car and not in Ken miles scheme.

First batch of 10 nearly off the bench. Just need a few final touches 🤌

Something a bit different for me. I've not done any warhammer in a long time and being out of that part of the hobby for so long I never even new the grand cathay army was released. So I picked some up and today I will be playing with a few paint scheme ideas I have. I've been looking at some really bright fun schemes but I'm really feeling a desaturated military style theme with a splash of colour so I'm going to be trying an olive drab / sun bleached orange theme.

Had a very productive morning at the bench and got most of the weathering and detail work done on the radio stack for the das werks kfz250. Next is flat coat and then a few washes to dull down the decals and add some final weathering. I added my own wiring made out of solder and added some tamiya tubing as an outer sleeve to the thicker cables I've roughly followed a real picture of the radio stack I found while looking for pictures of the greif halftrack.

Only a small bench update this week as I've not had much bench time. Been messing about with uv cure resin and head a little trick with doing dials. Can confirm....it works really well 🤘unfortunately can't really tell from the pictures
