Textile designer and weaver KFraser Textiles was founded in April 2010 by handweaver Katherine Fraser.

Katherine trained at the Wi******er School of Art and gained a first class honours degree in Woven Textiles in 2009. She took a real interest in creating modern and contemporary fabrics whilst using traditional weaving looms and yarns. Her work is known for its stunning colour combinations and beautiful feel against the skin. All of Katherine's fabrics are completely hand woven in her shop in Bath, Somerset. The shop is open daily and you can see Katherine and her loom in action! Katherine sells Cushions, Throws and other woven products as well as Scarves in her Milsom Place shop and is also happy to take commissions to suit the clients particular needs. Other handmade wares on offer include beautiful leather handbags by Bee Parker and bespoke silver jewellery by Pat Chandler

NATURAL DYE WORKSHOP!

I am so excited to share with you an exciting collaboration coming in late summer. Shelley is a celebrated natural dye master based in the States and is coming over to share her passion with us.

With Shelley, natural dyeing becomes storytelling. A wanderer and forager, she works with a dreamer’s curiosity, finding beauty in the slow moments of the process. She believes art should be shared and accessible, creating spaces where others can explore their creativity. At heart, she makes things for home and comfort, with a deep love for natural colour and all things cozy.
The two day course will include foraging for our dye plants, creating the natural dyes and then dyeing up various fabrics. I will also be supplying beautiful undyed merino wool scarves for everyone to dye and take home with them.

THE INFO!

DATES - Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September '26
TIMES - Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturday 10am - 2pm
LOCATION - Larkhall, Bath
PRICE - £200 per person (including booking fee)
WHAT'S INCLUDED - All materials and a light lunch on the Friday as well as refreshments. A merino wool scarf for dyeing is also included which you can take away with you at the end of the session.

I've had lots of new followers of late so I thought I'd reintroduce myself!
I'm Katherine a handweaver and textile designer based in Bath. My main focus is sustainable textiles, focusing on the best quality and wherever possible local fibres.
I hand weave my own products but also use UK based mills to produce larger runs that I sell on my website and also wholesale to brands worldwide.
Alongside my own brand I also collaborate with other brands and designers to create and produce new fabrics and products. I have some really exciting collaborations coming to fruition in the next few weeks so watch this space! Xx

New wall hangings online!
I'm absolutely thrilled with these new wall hangings, the warp was put in for a wonderful client as an anniversary present and then the rest was woven off for various colourways of the design, all using deadstock yarns which is so much better for the environment.
These are a very limited run but watch this space for blankets based on a similar design coming later in the year!
