Osborne's Christmas Trees

24/12/2025

As the last few trees go out of the gate this Christmas Eve, we are looking back on the season.

It’s been a very good year, and we’d like to say thank you to everyone who came to see us. It’s been great welcoming familiar faces back again, as well as plenty of new customers finding us for the first time.

Behind the scenes, it’s been a busy few weeks. We were cutting and restocking right through December, keeping the yards topped up with fresh trees as Christmas approached. Trees of all shapes and sizes went out the gate — from small trees for living rooms, right up to large feature trees.

This year we supplied trees to homes, local businesses, National Trust properties and town centres, including the trees you’ll have seen up around towns like Glastonbury and Devizes.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this Christmas, and a big thank you to the team who made it all happen. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year — and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Still need your Christmas tree? You’re in luck 🎄

We’ve been busy on the farm this week cutting and restocking all the yards with fresh trees. There’s plenty to choose from, and everything’s looking really good.

As we get closer to Christmas, it’s the perfect time for a traditional Norway Spruce — we’ve got lots of them ready and waiting at Rode, Bath, and Glastonbury. 🌲

Come and see us this weekend while the sun is shining.

It’s been a brilliant start to December 🎄 The yards have been busy, and it’s been great to see so many familiar faces (and a few new ones) stopping by for their Christmas trees.

The weather’s been mixed, and we’ve had a few road closures near our Rode site, but everyone’s kept in good spirits.

We’ve got plenty of fresh stock arriving, with the final trees being cut tomorrow ready for the weekend. Earlier this week, James and John were out in the plantation cutting some beautiful Fraser Firs — they’re already in the yards and looking fantastic.

Behind the scenes, Elizabeth has also been busy making wreaths — all handmade with fresh foliage straight from the plantation. They’ve been flying out this week, and there’s still a good selection available across all our sites.

We’ve had lots of local deliveries heading out across Somerset and Wiltshire 🚛

Over at Rode, Harriet stopped by and took some brilliant photos, which we’ll share below.

If you haven’t got your tree yet, this weekend’s the perfect time. Come and see us at Rode, Bath, or Butleigh — we’d love to help you find your perfect tree.

Tree care tip 🌲✂️
Even though our trees are freshly cut, it’s best to take a thin slice off the bottom before putting them in water — this helps them drink better and stay fresh longer!

Ask a member of the team — we’re happy to help.
