We do love a bunk bed. The idea of siblings or friends sharing a room and chatting into the night..

The reality of course is never that rose tinted and definitely a lot messier than these lovely pics portray (or it certainly is in our house) but it’s always fun to imagine!

Finding mattresses for bunk beds, particularly the top bunk, can be tricky as decent mattresses are invariably rather deep and can therefore make sleeping on the top bunk slightly perilous, particularly for young children.

We’ve therefore sourced a comfortable, good quality mattress made specifically for bunk beds so you don’t have to compromise. Available as a single or double. Link to website in bio.

The older we get the more this statement resonates with us.

Whether it’s…
A lack of sleep as a result of burning the candle at both ends.
Nights away on an uncomfortable or unfamiliar mattress.
Being woken by small people at an uncivilised hour.
Waking in the night and not being able to get back to sleep.
Sleeping on an old mattress that makes your bones creak in the morning.

The list just goes on... What makes you appreciate a good nights sleep? 💤

Thrilled to spot this photo of ‘s beautiful bedroom when scrolling through insta. Doubly pleased to then receive a fab review from Kirstie at Pencil Tree on the newly launched website…

“We've bought about 4 mattresses from Clare over the years. Some for holiday lets & a couple for us at home. Clare was so incredibly helpful. We discussed what the mattresses were used for (holiday let/spare room/kids room etc) & she suggested a few options that would work best in that location.

Her advice was made using her extensive knowledge of the industry & an impartial opinion. Every mattress she has suggested has been spot on.

Prior to finding Clare I would buy mattresses from a discount online site - choosing them based on the biggest discount. Needless to say the mattresses were often not that suitable. Even buying from a mattress store I felt I was being sold whatever they needed to shift that week. Having Clare's impartial advice is a game changer & every time I get into bed I'm very grateful for that!

⭐️N E W ⭐️

… and possibly our new fave. The perfect mattress upgrade for a master bedroom.

Deep, soft and firm with a reassuringly high spring count and just the right amount of softness…. we might find it even more of a challenge to get out of bed in the morning!

Infact, daughter no. 2 is experiencing just this problem as this is her new mattress. I’m waiting for her to have a bad night so I can crawl in with her… no such luck!!

Many of us have converted our lofts and attics into beautiful bedroom sanctuaries but even with proper insulation they can be hot in the summer and cold in winter which can have an impact on sleep.

When the website launches we will be introducing a seasonal mattress to address this. With technologically advanced cooling fabric on one side and warming memory foam on the other you can turn the mattress to react to the temperature of the room.
