The challenge is in full swing! 🏔️💙

Graeme Souness CBE and team have successfully summited Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, and are now making the descent after completing the first peak of their toughest challenge yet for DEBRA UK.

Despite the miles already covered and the challenge that still lies ahead, there are plenty of smiles on faces. One of the most special moments of the day came when Albi, who lives with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), took the mountain train to the summit to meet his dad Calum, who is taking on all 3 Peaks, and cheer on the team as they reached the top.

Seeing Albi's smile at the summit was a powerful reminder of why this challenge matters. Every step taken across these three mountains is for people living with EB, to help fund vital research and bring us closer to a world where nobody has to live with the pain of this devastating condition.

Next up: Scafell Pike ⛰️

Over the next two days, the team will take on the highest peaks in England and Scotland, covering hundreds of miles and pushing themselves to their limits in support of the EB community.

With one peak complete and two still to climb, every mile covered brings us closer to our £500,000 target to fund an EB clinical trial and help .

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Ultra Challenge Henley 10K complete!

A huge congratulations to , made up of members of DEBRA UK's Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team, who crossed the finish line of the Henley 10K on Sunday morning.

Despite a mix of sunshine and rain, the team powered through and has already raised more than £3,500 to help for people living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), also known as butterfly skin. 💙

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored the team so far. Every donation helps support DEBRA's work to improve quality of life for people living with EB and fund pioneering research into effective treatments.

Whether you'd like to share your experiences, listen to others, or simply meet people in a relaxed environment, the Men's Group is a great opportunity to build connections and be part of the DEBRA community.

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a rare and incredibly painful genetic skin condition that causes the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch. For people living with EB, everyday activities can be as painful as third-degree burns.

EB doesn't just affect the skin – it can also impact internal organs, mobility, nutrition, and overall quality of life.
At DEBRA UK, we're working to improve the lives of people living with EB today and fund research to help find effective treatments for tomorrow.

One thing about working in a charity shop if the amazing, unique, unusual and beautiful items we get donated.

This week we were gifted this piece of furniture. An antique Miller Pump Organ (1899) with the original makers certificate.

While its not to everyone's taste I absolutely love it and its currently sitting pride of place in the shop window.
