I created something a little bit different tonight! 🖤💜🧡

I wasn’t actually sure whether I was going to venture into Halloween wreaths this year… but I decided to have a play around and see what happened.

It’s still got a few finishing touches to come, but I’m not going to lie… I’M LOVING IT! 😍💀🎃

The creepy little couple, the pops of orange and purple, the mini pumpkins… it’s definitely a bit different from my usual Blooming Bonds style and I’m here for it! 👻

So now the question is… do I make MORE Halloween wreaths?! 👀🕷️

🤍🌸 A beautiful tribute for someone deeply loved 🌸🤍

This heart-shaped funeral wreath was created with a soft pink ribbon edge, finished with a gorgeous display of pink lilies and roses. 🌹🕊️

I know how much meaning flowers can hold at such a difficult time, so every memorial piece I create is made with care, thought and attention to detail.

🤍 Something I don’t share enough of… 🤍

At Wednesday’s market, I had quite a bit of interest in my memorial range, and it made me realise I don’t actually share this side of Blooming Bonds very often.

These are some of the lovely memorial ornaments I currently have available 🕊️🤍 and I can also source different relations, so please just ask if you’re looking for something specific.

I’ll be sharing some tomorrow with flowers added so you can see how they can be transformed. 🤍🌿

🍂🎄 There were definitely TWO sides to my market stall on Wednesday! 😂

Now don’t get me wrong… I KNOW it’s early for Christmas! 🎅🏼😂 But after getting super busy with my Christmas planters last year, I wanted to get ahead this time, showcase a few designs and officially open my Christmas pre-orders! 🎄✨

But it turns out you lot are very much still in your AUTUMN ERA 🍂🎃 because the autumn goodies were flying off the shelves! 😍

So it looks like I’ll be back in the workshop, surrounded by pumpkins and autumn colours, getting stocked back up for my next craft fayre at the end of the month! 🍁🤎

And in the meantime… if you’re one of those people who IS already thinking about Christmas 👀🎄 my pre-orders are OPEN! 😂

Apparently at Blooming Bonds we’re currently somewhere between pumpkin spice and Christmas lights… and I’m absolutely here for it! 🎃🎄😂

🍂🌧️ Bathgate Autumn Market Night 🌧️🍂

Was it a bit of a washout? Yes! 😂 But we live in Scotland… what can we expect?! ☔️

It’s hard when you’ve spent so much time preparing and the weather is against you, but sometimes you have to look at the positives — and one of the biggest for me is the amazing community and networking that comes with these markets. 🤎

I got chatting to another trader who was doing his very first market. We were talking about taking payments and he mentioned he didn’t have a card machine, so I told him, “If anyone wants to pay by card, just send them over to me. I’ll take the payment and give you the cash.”

And I’m so glad I did because he ended up having quite a few customers pay that way and would have potentially missed out on those sales otherwise! 🥹

At the end of the night, he surprised me with this gorgeous handmade vase and flower as a thank you. 🌸 Honestly, he didn’t need to give me anything, but it was such a lovely gesture and a perfect reminder of why I love the small-business community.

That community feel is something I really want Blooming Bonds to be about. I’ll help someone out where I can, I’ll keep my prices as affordable as I possibly can, and I’ll always support other small businesses along the way. 🤎

So maybe the weather wasn’t on our side… but there were definitely still some lovely moments amongst the rain. ☔️🍂

Small businesses supporting small businesses — that’s what it’s all about. 🫶
