Some big books have been published today!

I have signed copies with sprayed edges of Richard Osman’s new novel, We Chase Shadows. The first few people to purchase a copy will receive a free luggage tag (because if you are going to fly around the world solving murders you need something to put on your suitcase).

Other highlights include signed copies of new books from Kate Atkinson, Ben Mcintyre and Jamie Oliver.

The bestselling Children’s books in the shop are those illustrated by the brilliantly talented and locally-based Sarah Massini. Sarah has now brought the first picture book of her own, Once Upon A Tiger, and it is absolutely stunning: it is a pleasure to stock a book as beautiful as this in the shop. The latest Ottolenghi book, Simple Too, is published today. I have a limited number of signed copies and anyone buying one will receive a complementary jar of Ottolenghi orange harissa! Janice Hallett’s The Appeal was an incredibly innovative Crime novel. The sequel, The Silent Appeal which has just been published in hardback, is possibly even better! I have a limited amount of signed copies with sprayed edges so do please let me know if you would like to reserve a copy

Thank you to everyone for being so patient while the shop was closed during my Cornish holiday. I had a lovely time: I read some good books, made friends with local inhabitants and indulged my love of lighthouses. But it is all now over and the shop is back OPEN!
