📍 Come and see us at Beaconsfield Market on Tuesday!

We’ll be there chatting to the local community, raising awareness of the support we provide, and selling tickets for our Age UK Spring Raffle 🎟️

We’ll also have some pre-loved teddies that need adopting, so come along and give one of our lovely teddies a new home! 🧸

We are grateful to Richard owner of Glanville Picture Framing Company for his presence at the market and for his father’s commitment and dedication to revive the market over 40 years ago.
Today is his penultimate Tuesday at the market and his final day will be next Tuesday. He will still be at Bicester Market.

When do you find your ‘me’ time - just you and nature?

We’re so lucky here. Whether it’s a quiet walk through Hodgemoor Woods, around the Old Town, or simply sitting in the garden with a cup of tea, there are pockets of calm all around us if we choose to pause.

Today, why not let gratitude guide your day and do one small, meaningful thing for someone else:
• Offer a genuine smile
• Drop some food round to a neighbour
• Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while
• Take a mindful walk
• Eat a wholesome meal and say a quiet thank you before you do

And when you really reflect - how many people were involved in getting that food to your plate? The farmers, suppliers, drivers, shop teams… it’s quite humbling when you think about it.

Small, conscious acts create strong communities.

Don’t forget it’s market day today and say farewell to Glanville Picture Frames as it’s their penultimate Tuesday at the market. Richard’s dad was instrumental in reviving the market as it is today. Sad to see Glanville Picture Framing Company leaving and wish them every luck for the future.
