Double Time

Double Time Woven and felted goods. Textile gifts Individually handwoven fabrics make our woven products unique. Many of the fabrics are inspired by the Highland landscape.

The main looms used are rigid heddle and inkle looms, peg loom and lucet, although other techniques are also used. We make a range of bags, purses, rugs and other items. In addition to woven products Double Time produces wet and needle felted products, polymer clay, Dorset and Yorkshire buttons, fabric dyed or painted items, and knitted, crocheted or sewn gifts.

Black, red and light grey mulberry silk braid completed. Hand dyed and hand woven on a Swedish band loom, which is similar in style to looms in many medieval pictures.
