Before you start planting… read this.… ➡️💍🌸
The flowers you want might not naturally be ready when you’re getting married. Plan your flowers around what will actually be in bloom.
Some plants won’t germinate. Some will get eaten by slugs. Some will flower too early. Some will just have a bad week.
Wedding flowers are not the time to rely on exact numbers.
You want varieties that give you lots of stems and keep producing.
Think cosmos, sweet peas, zinnias, scabious and ammi rather than putting all your hopes on one tricky crop.
You need somewhere to grow them, water them, support them, harvest them, condition them and store them before the big day.
Growing them is only half the job!
Because flowers don’t know you’ve got a wedding booked!
Weather, pests and timing can all throw your plans off, so always build in a little flexibility.
Our DIY wedding flower packages give you buckets of beautiful, seasonal flowers grown here on the farm — ready for you to arrange in your own style.
Perfect for couples who want the flowers to feel personal, without adding “become a flower farmer” to the wedding to-do list.
