Hello and welcome to Charlotte's Creative Crafts on Facebook. I thought I'd better update my additional information as it was so out of date.....

I started crafting in 2013 and loved it ever since. It helps me relax, distracts me from the pain I get. It gives me enjoyment seeing the finished products. I have a physical disability called FSH Muscular Dystrophy and I also have bilateral hearing lo

ss. Crafting is one way of keeping my motivation going and to help keep my hands moving. Some of the items I make are:

- Earrings (Charmed, Glass, Enamel, Cabochon)
- Keyrings (Cabochon, Charmed, Beaded, Gemstone)

✨ Work in Progress | Behind the Scenes ✨

Just a little peek at what I’ve been working on today! 😍

Unfortunately, today wasn’t quite as productive as planned — I had a few oopsies happen whilst embroidering! 😳🤬🤦‍♀️😭😤

But that’s all part of the fun of handmade crafting, right?! 😂🧵

Here are a few of the Felt Christmas Decorations I started embroidering today. They still need trimming, the back and hangers adding, cutting out and a little tidying up, but I couldn’t resist sharing a little behind-the-scenes photo! ✂️💖

We’ve got:
🍪 Gingerbread Cookie Letter Gingerbread People in Letters D, N, and O — (this is a brand-new design available to order this year after making demos last year!)
🫚 Ugly Jumper in Gingerbread Men

There’s still plenty more work to do on these, but I can’t wait to show you how they turn out! 😍

Just thought I'd share a little update from my shelf at The Craft Shelf in St Neots! ❤️

I'd needed to remove one of my Crossover Scarves from the shelf as an online customer wanted to purchase it 💖 when my Mum visited at the weekend she removed this and had a rearrange, and to see what products are needed to taken in 🪡

I will have a few more items available on the shelf soon (hopefully this coming weekend) 😀

In 2024, I made 87 Ugly Jumper Felt Christmas Decorations 🎄 I absolutely loved making these decorations ❤️

I am definitely be making more of these to add to my Christmas stock as the majority have sold ✨️ I am starting on these this week 👌

I know a few of you have been asking how the Jar Grip Openers work......

Well, here is a Jar Grip Opener Demo Video made for me by my brother ❤️

He is using a Jar Grip Opener in the following fabric print Poppies on Navy Background with Black Grippy Backing 🌺🖤 and he's using a jar of mint sauce to do the demo with 🫙

Good morning! Happy Monday! Here is a quote to start off another new week ✨️

I hope you had a lovely weekend? And have a great week ahead. Do you have any plans for the week? 😀

On Saturday, I did some embroidery and made a few items for customer orders ❤️ then I spent the afternoon resting, relaxing, recovering, and recuperating 😌

On Sunday, we went to St Neots to The Craft Shelf to remove an item and have a rearranged and see what I need to replace 😀 then I bought a jumper I had my eye on from fatface as it was in the sale plus two other jumpers that were also on sale (they honestly just fell into my basket lol) 😂 then we went to M&S food, then on to tesco for a bit more shopping 🛍 and fuel for my WAV ⛽️ then I spent the afternoon resting, relaxing, recovering, and recuperating 😌 we also spoke to my brother via video call 😊 and I also with help got packed 3 out of 5 customer orders 😊

This week, if I am able to, I plan to embroidered, embroidered, embroidered not sure which yet! 😀 I also have a nail appointment 💅 and a hospital appointment this week too 🏥

Why have I chosen to showcase these bookmarks again? Well.....firstly it's National Book Lovers Day today. Secondly, I absolutely love them! Thirdly, they are great to use with both paperback or hardback books to mark your place in your current read 📚 so no more bending the corner of books 🙈 or using the nearest scrap of paper or receipt 📃 to mark your place 😉

Today (9th August 2026) is National Book Lovers Day 📚

This day is to encourage the joy and fun of reading 📚 and to put those phones/tablets etc down and just read 📚

It is important to read as it expands the mind, allows for creativity, helps improve concentration and more 📚

So why not celebrate National Book Lovers Day by buying a book, buying bookmark to keep track in your latest read, visiting your local library, giving books as gifts, hosting a book club, or volunteer to teach a child to read which is very rewarding 📚

Me personally find it really difficult to sit down and pick up a book/kindle/online book to read 😔 I've always disliked reading 😔

Good Morning! Happy Sunday!.....😊

Do you have any plans for today? 😃

Today, I will go to The Craft Shelf in St Neots to remove a product from my shelf 🧣 I will also take some pictures and see what needs restocking and I can sort these throughout the week 😀 then I will doing a bit of shopping too 🛍 I will also plan my customer orders to complete ❤️

I will take some time to rest, relax, recover, and recuperate once I am home 😔 I will snuggle up under my blankets on my armchair with the dogs 🐾🐾 and a tv series or film 🖥 I will also plan and prepare myself for a new week ahead 😊
