Come along and find us at the Scottish Arts and Crafts Fair today 😄

Our 1st August event takes place today, at Geilsland Estate in Beith.️ We're indoors so you don't need to worry about any showers while you're browsing. We have another fantastic line up of 54 stalls packed with handmade crafts and local food & drink, and more new crafters joining us for the first time. We also have our chatter & natter cafe area in the hall with a counter run by Mocha JaK’s serving a selection of homemade cakes and hot & cold drinks, or you can pop round to their main cafe to enjoy the full menu.

“Is that an original?” 🤔

Without a doubt, this is the question we get asked more than any other.

Every weekend, people stop us at markets and shows to ask if it’s an original vintage vehicle or a modern replica.

Conversations we enjoy are with retired mechanics. They’ll walk over, smile, look at the door handles or peek through the windscreen and say…

“Hang on… is that an LDV Sherpa?”

They’re absolutely right.

Hidden beneath the vintage bodywork is a 1984 LDV Sherpa. It was built on an extended chassis and transformed by Ollerton, a British coachbuilder renowned for producing these unique promotional vehicles for companies across the UK.

From everything we’ve managed to uncover, we believe ours originally spent its early years with Warburtons, travelling the country as one of their promotional vehicles before passing through a couple of owners.

Around 20 years ago, we discovered and bought it from the Staffordshire bus company and haven’t looked back since.

Since then, it’s become the face of Threepwood Fayre, travelling thousands of miles to markets and events across Scotland, carrying handmade Scottish tablet, fudge, chocolates and all the traditional sweets we make.

People often tell us we should retire it and buy something newer…

But why would we?

After more than 40 years, it’s still doing exactly what it was designed to do—making people stop, smile and start a conversation.

We’ve actually got a second Ollerton promotional vehicle currently being restored. 👀

So before too long, there’ll be two of these rare classics back on the road together.

And yes, it still drives…. Slowly 😂

What a weekend! 🙌

We’ve had a fantastic couple of days on the road, but now our sights are firmly set on next Saturday…

In our opinion, it’s the best craft fair in Scotland! 🎨✨

If you’ve never been to the Scottish Arts & Crafts Fair at Geilsland Estate, this is your sign to come along. With 54 incredible indoor stalls packed with handmade crafts, artwork, food and drink, there’s something for everyone.

Bring a friend, have a wander, support some amazing local makers… and of course it would be rude not to stop by our stall for some handcrafted Scottish confectionery and a few wedges of Inverloch cheese! 🍫🧀

And while you’re there, don’t forget to pop into Mocha Jaks for a coffee and a bite to eat. ☕

Oh… and there’s just one rule…

What a fantastic day we’ve had today at the East Kilbride Farm Show!

Now, on to tomorrow! 🍫🌭

We’ll be heading to the Largs Classic Car Show on the seafront from 10am–4pm, and if you’re looking for a great free family day out, it’s well worth a visit.

With over 50 classic and retro vehicles on display, street food, local traders, craft stalls and plenty to see along the beautiful Largs promenade, it’s set to be another brilliant day.

You’ll find us in our vintage van, serving:
🍫 Our handcrafted Scottish confectionery
🧀 Inverloch Cheese
🌭 Freshly cooked hot dogs

We’ll be at the East Kilbride Farm Show tomorrow, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic family day out with livestock, equestrian events, vintage tractors, a funfair, craft stalls, great food and plenty more to keep everyone entertained.

It's almost time again for one of our favourite craft fairs! 🎉

Being less than five minutes from our factory, we always look forward to supporting local events here in Beith and catching up with so many familiar faces.

We'll be there with our full range of handmade Scottish sweets, along with our ever-popular Inverloch cheeses, so whether you're treating yourself or picking up a gift, we'd love to see you.
