Paperxclips is a q***r bookshop, barbershop, coffeeshop and community space which opened in West Belfast in July 2022. We also love to stock local authors, illustrators, poets, and artists work - get in touch and let's see how we can work together!

To ensure that Paperxclips is a comfortable space where people can attend events, read in silence, have a coffee with a friend, and enjoy the space in their own way we've put some guidelines in place.

If someone is behaving inappropriately or making you uncomfortable please feel free to let staff know, or simply draw their attention to the guidelines displayed on each table.

Text of the guidelines:

✨ Please take your belongings, crafts, and projects home with you when you leave.
✨ Please tidy up after yourself and put any rubbish in the bins provided.
✨ Please keep conversations to your table and be mindful of your volume so everyone can enjoy the space.
✨ Please avoid addressing the whole room unless you're leading an event.
✨ Please maintain good personal hygiene out of consideration for other customers.
✨ Food and drink purchased elsewhere may not be consumed in the shop.
✨ During busy periods, we may ask guests who have not made a recent purchase to free up tables for others.
✨Please treat our staff, volunteers, and other customers with kindness and respect.
✨ Aggressive, violent, abusive, or disruptive behaviour may result in being asked to leave.
✨ We aren't trained in crisis support, please contact a support service or someone you trust if you are in crisis. ✨ We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave whose behaviour prevents others from enjoying the space.
