Exciting changes ahead for The Craft Room and North Down Craft Collective!
Since North Down Craft Collective was established in 2013, our journey has been filled with creativity, community, and connection. From hosting monthly art & craft fairs to opening The Craft Room in 2016 as a retail hub for our members, it's been an incredible adventure.
Along the way, we have run markets, pop-ups, exhibitions, and much more, creating opportunities for local makers to showcase their work.
Now it's time for a new chapter. We're announcing that The Craft Room will be closing its doors on Saturday, 28th June 2025.
But this isn't goodbye - it's an exciting new beginning!
North Down Craft Collective has been set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC), allowing us to focus on continuing and growing the support for each other as makers as well as delivering workshops, events, training and mentoring programmes to community groups across North Down and surrounding areas.
We are currently collaborating with Ards & North Down Women’s Aid and Copeland Care Home delivering projects and demonstrations and are delighted to continue working with WWT Castle Espie bringing three art & craft fairs to this stunning venue this year.
We're so grateful for your incredible support over the years. The Craft Room has been such a special place thanks to you, our amazing customers and friends. We're excited about this next chapter and hope you will join us as we continue to celebrate and support local makers in new and inspiring ways.
Make sure to visit the shop before 28th June to celebrate all we've achieved together and follow us for updates about our upcoming events and plans!
