I know that it should’ve been mentioned a while ago but I just wanted to let people know that the shop has been closed for good since October 2020, over a year ago, by the time the second lockdown occurred. Jim is now retired. Just wanted to clarify that.

I know that I never post anything on this page but just to let you guys know that the shop is still in the same street (North Street) but in a different unit. The shop is now next to the pub Aether And Echo. The shop is now where Sick Records was located and Sick Records closed down back in October due to lack of sales. Hardly anybody purchased stuff at Sick Records, so they decided to close down.

Also, the Wee Carnaby Centre (originally located in the In Shops complex and it was more recently located in North Street for the last half decade) has gone out of business so there’s no more Mohammed Diwan (Mr Carnaby Centre man). I just wanted to let you guys know that the shop is still going strong. It’s still around. It’s still in the same street but just in a different unit nowadays.

I hardly ever post stuff on this page but 2016 has been such a clunky year for legendary musicians passing away including David Bowie (nearly 4 months ago) and Prince, who very sadly dissolved a couple of weeks ago. It was also very shocking to hear about all of the members of Viola Beach died (alongside with their manager) back in February. :(

It's been nearly a week since this extremely shocking demise happened - Lemmy sadly passed away a few days after his 70th birthday. RIP, Lemmy. You were a true hard rock/ metal icon. That man was a legendary artist. His legacy will live on and he's gonna keep on rocking in the free world as well. Get your horns up in air and salute him. \m/

Even though I don't really post much on this page but I've got a very interesting fact to tell about Jim McKevitt - he's got a humongous collection of vinyl records and he has over 40, 000 of them. Did anybody out there actually knew about this?
