For the first time ever, this year’s market will transport you to the Victorian era with a Dickensian-themed Christmas market experience.

On the opening weekend (16 and 17 November) and third weekend (30 November to 1 December), you’ll be immersed in the charm of Charles Dickens's world. Stroll through the market alongside iconic characters from his stories. Enjoy enchanting storytelling and lively performances that bring his works to life.

It's that time of the year again, time to tag your Market Buddies! The Christmas market will return this Saturday, 16th November and run until Sunday 22nd December.
The Christmas lights will also be switched on this Saturday so the market will open at noon.

Its that time of the year again, time to tag your Market Buddies! The Christmas market will return on Saturday 18th November and run until Friday 22nd December.
The Christmas lights will be switch-on is on the 18th so the market will open at noon and a one way system will operate this day.

My mum was at the market on Saturday and has lost some rosary beads from her pocket. They were very important to her with huge sentimental value.

They are clear blue bead with silver crucifix. She lost them in the beer tent just left of the entrance (not lavereys). That’s where her coat fell on the ground and they must have fell out. It was Saturday evening between 5 and 8.30 ish. They were sat at a long table close to door. If anyone has found them in can you please let me know or hand them in to the market? Thank you
