When you summon the ā€˜heat godsā€™ to help you speed up your last batch of the week ā€¦:.but you accidentally unleash ā€˜Mount Vesuviusā€™ šŸŒ‹ instead.

5 things I do to try and reduce the air bubbles in the final bar of soap - to make it prettier for you!
1) burp the blender
2) once the blender is immersed I try not to bring it back out, if I do I burp it again
3) pour the lye in over the stick blender to reduce new bubbles
4) pour the batter into the mould directed at the end of a spatula, to reduce new bubbles
5) tap the mould to release bubbles

Of course we still get bubbles on the surface of a soap bar once itā€™s cut.. but way less than if we donā€™t do this!
You pay good money for real soap.. itā€™s gotta look pretty šŸ˜

How we do it: We split the slabs of soap into loaves, then divide the loaves into individual soap slices. We use two sizes of slabs, one gives us 48 full-size bars plus 12 travel soaps.. the biggest gives us 80 full size bars. I try to make 128 bars a day.
