We had a lovely couple in last week looking for a 40cm x 70cm frame and of course this has now turned up. Slightly wider but the right length. If you still would like one please just ring the shop. This just has a Perspex panel not glass.

Big birthday countdown …
The Halloween stock is due out in the shop this week to be snapped up so we can get ready for our shop celebrations marking 50 years in Belper on 23 October.

Crikey October already and just 20 days for our 50th birthday.

Always lots to do to keep accepting donations and keep the doors open and the shop trading. Please just a few reminders to help us make the process as smooth as possible.

1). Always ring ahead if you have armfuls of donations to ensure we have the space and staff available to safely accept them;

2) please come armed with your gift aid details - the name and address details need to be up to date to work;

3) pretty please can you ensure large donations are dropped off before 4pm on a Saturday. It marks the end of a busy week and it’s nice to be able to sort everything out behind the scenes before we lock the doors and hopefully have the stairs clears for Monday.

Oooops the wrong DM(s). Dena was busy last night prepping some nice footwear ready for the weekend including teeny tiny converse for a small person, and some great DM’s - vegan, leather, male and female. If you’re passing the shop today best pop in and check what’s there.

Alternatively if you are a fan of the 80’s super hero there is this fab belt online. Perfect present material for the fans of the heroic mouse & pals, or his evil arch enemy and Nero.

We’ve been storing up a collection of vintage oil lamps and finally got round to checking them out and giving them a clean. Fabulous decorative items as they are, or probably most could be prepurposed for a candle holder. All priced and available in the shop now if you’re interested.
