The Halloween cat has made it to Newark Showground for this weekends wool and yarn show. He's an experimental work, felting on to linen. A great venue, Im loving the natural light. We have our home produced Leicester Longwool...sheep to yarn, along with Belper hand washed and carded Ryeland, North Ronaldsey and Jacob Cross breed. We have an eclectic mix of yarns for felting, knitting, weaving and crochet. Waterwheel and cardboard looms for weaving. Felting fibres in smaller amounts... and so much more ...yes we have been busy ! If you are at the show do pop and say hello.

You folks keep buying up all our budget yarn, so we have to keep getting more! Knitco DK, £1.75 per 100g ball, or 4 balls for £6. Some people still buy their yarn at charity shops and large chain stores, but as a proper wool shop we're happy to offer more choice, better quality and a lower price. 😀
