🌿 The Between Bloom 🌿

While wandering through the Hearth Garden this evening, I noticed something I’d never seen before…

A single hibiscus flower had opened half white and half lavender.

Most flowers on the shrub are soft white with a deep magenta centre, but every now and then nature creates something completely unexpected. This one seemed to bloom between two colours, and I couldn’t help but stop and admire it.

It reminded me that we don’t always have to choose between who we were and who we’re becoming.

Sometimes we’re both.

The hibiscus itself is a beautiful reminder of resilience. Although each individual bloom lasts for just a day, the plant continues to produce flower after flower throughout the season. One bloom fades, another opens. A quiet reminder that endings are often followed by new beginnings.

Moments like these are why I spend so much time in the garden. So many of the ideas behind Magical Hearth Co begin here—not in perfection or grand gestures, but in slowing down long enough to notice the little things.

Perhaps the real magic isn’t in changing the world…

Perhaps it’s simply in noticing it. 🌿✨
