Good morning,
another heatwave week ahead or summer as us older folk use to call it. This will be the last box before we get into the silly season so the next Fish Box will be September 3rd. The shop will be open as usual, Tuesday to Saturday 9am-3pm throughout July and August.
So this week's Fish Box will be:

2 Swordfish Steaks
2 portions of Salmon fillet
2 portions of Cod fillet
2 portions of fresh Crevettes
1 kg of live River Teign Mussels (south Devon)

Delivered to your home this Thursday pm 25th June.

We still have the Salmon deal on a kilo side for £22.95.

Good morning. We’ve some cracking big bass in. A 2 kg fish being prepared to grace someone’s barbecue. Plenty of top grade tuna and we still have 15% off lobsters.

Good morning,
we have sucured some Scottish halibut for this week's box. This is such a great eating fish, it's firm, meaty flesh has a delicious flavour, perfect to pair with hollandaise sauce ( we sell a great one at £5.75 a jar).
So the box this week will be:

2 portions of Chalkstream Trout
2 portions of Halibut
2 Plaice fillets
2 portions of prepared squid
2 pair of Grimsby smoked Kippers. (these are terrific)

All prepared and ready to cook or freeze down, delivered to your door for £50 this Thursday 18th June.

We will be doing one more Fish Box after this week when we will take a break for July and August. The 22.8% increase in ferry charges that Wightlink and the Government have imposed upon us has forced us to reduce the number of trips over to The North Isle we can take to pick up fish from mainland boats. Fuel prices has reduced the supply of fresh fish and this has impacted on the choices we have to provide 10 portions of fish for £50. Summer only compounds this problem.
We do appreciated the support you give us with the Fish Boxes but it's not an easy time for small businesses on the Island. To make sure we are still here next year tough decisions have to be made.

fish pie weather so fish pie mix in the box.

2 portions of fish pie mix (cod,salmon, smoked haddock)
2 sashimi grade tuna steaks
2 portions of monk fillet
2 portions of naturally smoked haddock
2 made by Ruth crab ramekins. (frozen)

All delivered to your door for the usual £50 this Thursday 11th June.

We will be running the 1kg side of top grade salmon fillet for £22.95 again this week. Limited availability for collection from the shop from tomorrow or can be delivered with your fish box.
