I’ve something to share… this is my last weekend as manager at number twenty and Monday 24th is my last day.
I honestly don’t quite know how to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to me.
I’ve felt incredibly privileged to be part of number twenty and to play a small role in supporting the amazing work of The Hospice of St Francis.
But more than anything, it’s the people who have made this place so special to me. I’m talking about you!
To everyone who has walked through our doors and shared a little piece of their life with me; your happy stories, your sad ones, your laughs, our conversations, the friendships born and everything in between - thank you. ❤️
I hope that every person who has come into our shop has left feeling a little bit more special and important, because you really, truly are. ❤️
I’ve loved my time here more than I can put into words, and leaving on Monday is going to be incredibly hard. I’m going to miss the shop, but most of all, I’m going to miss all of you. There are whispers that I may be permitted an occasional “stand up” appearance to cover holidays, here’s me, still holding hope!
I feel so incredibly lucky to have met so many wonderful people and to have been part of something that has meant so much to me.
