The All new TOTO Neorest LS-W / AS-W.
As viewed in TOTO'S Shinjuku, Tokyo main showroom on business visit to Japan May, 2026. Currently only available in Japan. Very economically priced in Japanese Yen, undoubtably will be more expensive if and when launched in Europe. Specification as below:

Main function: Stool Scan / TOTO Wellness
The major new feature is 便スキャン, which translates as Stool Scan. TOTO describes this as a sensor built into the Washlet, near the nozzle outlet, which scans stool as it falls. It uses LED light and reflected light measurement rather than taking a normal camera image. It automatically measures stool shape/hardness, colour and quantity.
The stool data is sent to the TOTO Wellness smartphone app via Bluetooth. The app displays the latest data, trends in calendar or graph form, weekly or monthly reports, and lifestyle recommendations based on the most recent data. TOTO also states that the app is not a medical diagnostic, treatment or prevention service.
The system can register up to six users per toilet. The user sits on the seat and presses the personal setting button on the remote, or authenticates through the app, after which the stool scan starts automatically and ends when the user stands up.

Measurement Details
Shape / hardness Classified into 7 types, based on TOTO’s own classification, referencing the Bristol Stool Form Scale.
Quantity Classified into small, medium or large. Small is under approx. 100 g, medium is approx. 100–300 g, and large is over approx. 300 g.

Main difference between LS-W and AS-W
Both models appear to have the same headline stool scan / TOTO Wellness functionality. The main practical difference is the body design and size: the LS-W is the more premium, larger model with a more seamless luxury design, while the AS-W is slightly more compact and lower priced.
