I think there’s real value and satisfaction in spending time repairing something old. This beautiful tassel needed a little bit of TLC and some careful thought.

I sent a detailed video to my customer to explain exactly what I had done to strengthen and protect it.

A bunch of vintage curtain braid really drew my attention and it has made an excellent repurposing project.
I have bound each end with colourful thread and added metal caps.
