Find Me Knitting Yarn, patterns and tools for knitting and crochet. Online and in Betws-y-coed. That and my children’s desire to stop me stashing so much yarn at home!

Find Me Knitting… was borne out of a passion for knitting and crocheting, and the dream of having a real, physical place to share that passion. When the opportunity arose to take over Libby Summers’ lovely Peruvian yarns, along with her patterns for those yarns, the dream turned into reality. There are so many fantastic designers, spinners, dyers and general yarn-lovers out there. Our aim at Find Me Knitting… is to bring you the best natural yarns, knitting and crochet patterns, needles, hooks and notions that we can find. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see those designs, squish that yarn, try those needles before you buy? You will be able to Find Me Knitting… in Betws-y-coed soon, when the real, physical shop opens. Come and find us, and join us knitting or crocheting (or squishing the yarn!).

We’ve had some rather lovely deliveries of hand-dyed single-ply yarns.
Keld Fi*****ng is nicely topped-up, including some colours that had sold out & even a couple of new ones. I will get around - sometime - to showing off my recently finished top in this.
And Aglow Singles (and DK around the corner) are back! Photos have been taken, so they should make it to the website soon-ish

We’ve had a small restock of cube-shaped patterns from Woolly Wormhead!
Cuboidal keeps selling out - once folk realise how many options there are, and that it’s all joined as you go, it’s hard to resist. They’re such fun knits - and you can even crochet them.

To make room for some other wonderfully woolly yarns this autumn, we’re saying goodbye to an old favourite from John Arbon Textiles.
Devonia 4ply and DK are now reduced to clear out some shelf space.
If you fancy a bargain, they’re in the clearance section on the yarn shop page.
* Fear not, they’ll be replaced by new favourites from our Devonian friends!

It’s only taken me 2 years, 10 months & 23 days * but can anyone guess what I’ve finally got around to finishing??
I’ve even tidied up all the ends, so I only need to snip them after it’s had its bath.

Shame it’s still way too hot to wear.

Thought we’d have a bit of a Flash Sale while we’re hiding from the sun.
So, there’s 20% off everything online until the end of Thursday 25th June.
I couldn’t get the discount to work with things already discounted, so I’ve upped the discount on those instead - we really could do with the space those clearance books are filling in the shop!

We’ve taken the executive decision to remain closed on Thursday.
Even if it’s not quite as hot as predicted, it’s virtually impossible to keep cool in the shop - and home will be far more comfortable thanks to super-thick Welsh stone walls 😀
We’ll be back open as normal on Friday.
