We had a number of dog visitors on Saturday, including an ex-FDR rescue dog, and a Guide Dog in training. A great reminder of how important dogs are to humans.

We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and messages following yesterday’s incident. We have taken the decision that we have no choice but to significantly increase our security measures, an expense we would rather not have to undertake as every penny we spend on such things means we cannot spend it on the dogs in our care.
We would like something good to come out of the incident so we appeal for good quality donations as a matter of urgency so that we can hopefully increase our taking and fund the extra security measures we now need. So, if it’s one item or a bag full, please drop off your donations at the earliest opportunity and some good will come out of this
