I know I'm *supposed* to be pleased when I make a sale, but going through the old photos on my insta feed actually makes me a bit sad.
I remember every single crystal that's passed through my hands, and I'd have kept them if my husband wouldn't scold 'baby!' with the disapproval of a dad who's toddler has sandpapered the brand new rosewood speakers (Fun Fact: It's me. I was that toddler).
It's a bit like saying goodbye to my own collection. Even though they aren't mine, I handpick everything as if I'm shopping for myself. I actually have some old stock I should put on sale to make room for new pretties, but they're some of my favourites and I don't want them to go!
My own collection is meagre for a crystal seller. I have more tumbles than anything decorative (there's no space! boo!), and almost everything is green, bar a raw piece of amethyst from my dad, and a carnelian moon. I guess that's why I love my stock so much; they're the extension to my collection that I dream about!
Still, at least someone gets to enjoy the prettiness I've curated, and it means the world when I hear they love it just as much as I do :)
This purple mica palm stone is newly listed today, and it's another piece I'll be sad to see go. It has the most ridiculous silvery flash - all over, on BOTH sides!!! - and there's even a quartz inclusion. I have no idea how my wholesaler managed to source these so cheaply (they're usually three times the cost!), but it's the last one I have available. I doubt I'll get anymore of this quality and price again.
Maybe I should keep it...! ππ
