We offer a contemporary spin to traditional crafts and many of the products we stock are recycled or sustainably produced. Magpie & Hook is a combination of two existing businesses: The Magpie's Nest & The Left Hookery. In January 2022, Magpie & Hook opened in their new home on Mill Street, Bideford.

It's Woolly Wednesday this evening : 6.30 - 8.30pm : our weekly crafty social : £5 per person : includes refreshments : just bring along your current project or buy something new! : 10% off all yarn and patterns at the session : no need to book.

Goodbye Number Five, you have been WONDERFUL!
Many hands make light work, and the shop and storeroom were empty by 1pm yesterday!
I'd like to say a huge THANKYOU to everyone who helped us relocate 😘😊 Now comes the fun bit - faffing about and tweaking until it looks just right!

It is our last Woolly Wednesday in our current shop this evening - 6.30 - 8.30pm -
£5 per person - refreshments provided - no need to book just drop in!
Bring along your project or buy a new one - 10% off all yarn/patterns etc on the night.
Check out this gorgeous new yarn from Stylecraft : Dream Cloud : wool blend : chunky : fluffy : lofty loveliness. There is a free waistcoat pattern with yarn purchase and lots of great patterns for jumpers, cardigans and more. Please pop in for a squidge!

The new shop is coming along nicely, Dave the builder and Matt the electrician have been working their socks off and we are on schedule to move in at the beginning of September.
I'm so excited, to get in to the new space, it's going to be absolutely fantastic! I am so happy to say that my classes will be fully accessible to all - no more stairs to climb! Right I'm off to paint until I drop 🎨🖌
