Whilst I wouldn’t recommend swinging from it, this fresh foliage chandelier halo definitely elevates this high ceiling venue. It looks great in the reception space at Tawstock Court. Simple but effective. (Bit like me!)

I first met Abby and her family when they came to a workshop a couple of years ago so it was so special to be asked to her wedding flowers. It was also my first time at Wooladon Estate - and let’s hope it’s not my last as it was such a fabulous venue. A super large barn with space to do whatever you like. So we did! The colours Abby and George chose were perfect and as these amazing pictures by Joanna | Devon Wedding Photographer show, it really was a show stopping day! Thank you Abby for choosing me!

As a florist I do love to work with the big and small. And this gorgeous colourful wedding at Sandy Cove Hotel gave that opportunity! Firstly the gazebo with that fabulous view - with a bit of enhancement in the statement corner. Then aside from the bridal bouquets we then go small with a matching hairpiece. These last few weeks have been a whirlwind of flowery festivities. And as a result I have so many photos I’d can’t wait to share. But to get the most out of social media and the dark art of its algorithms you need to write an appropriate caption to go with the images.
There are only so many ways you can say “look at these pretty flowers”. And then I run out of ideas. “Why don’t you use AI?” I hear you say, “ it can write all your captions for you”. But I don’t want to use AI. I don’t have enough space to discuss this in detail, but let’s just say that when you have such natural beauty literally at your fingertips why muddy the waters with something that is the absolute antithesis.
So here are some pretty flowers…..
(Just don’t get me started on those atrocious AI generated posters appearing for everything!)
