There's something magical about where mountains meet water. The latest issue of Trail is dedicated to exactly that, featuring 18 epic spots where you can climb from shoreline to summit. And even dip your toes in the water if you fancy it!

Where's your favourite lake, loch or llyn?

Useful reminder !!

Some useful information following the unfortunate casualties of lightning strikes on Snowdon this week:

- Sound travels at 332m per second, or 1km in 3 seconds, or 10km in 30 seconds
- Lightning can strike up to 10km from its source
- If there's less than 30 seconds between seeing lightning and hearing thunder there's a risk of being struck
- You can be at risk from lightning up to 30 minutes after the last thunderclap

REMEMBER THE 30/30 RULE: If there's less than 30 seconds between the lightning and the thunder get away from any high ground, seek shelter, and remain there until 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder.
