We have had many enquiries about when we will be getting new stock of the Big game grubs & restocking the missing colours of the Mogambo grubs, they will be back in stock in mid August. It has taken some time (just over 3 years) for the exchange rate to start to recover from the brexit announcement & now we can afford to buy more stock from the USA which 5 months ago would have seen these more than double in price. They will be a few pence dearer but certainly not double the price.

This is a bit of market research to gauge the demand.
As you know Yogi (as he likes to be known) has decided he is an artist & as such no longer wants to make long runs of one or two types of lures.
He wants' to be free to make what he likes & wont make any more big batches of the lures you all love.

He offered to make 20 of each last month because he was short of money but I too have principles, plus on previous experience, by the time we had listed them they would all be sold & loads of you would be emailing to moan you didn't get a look in !

SO Yogi's best pupil has agreed to make the Jointed Fry plus the Fat fry & tiny Fat Fry for me & as I designed them there can be no problem.

Now we come to your in-put, are you happy with them in there current form, very slow to rise & "just" floating (without a trace) ?

Or do you want to see them in floating & sinking, which will take longer to do ?

We are also going to make the Jointed Fry in two sizes 1/. as it first appeared 12 years back in 42mm & 2/. the later 50mm.

I anticipate the first batch will be here in about three months "ish" as Dyane is a younger man with a family to feed & keen to make some money.

Just an up-date, we have bought all of Salmo's out of production lures, a couple of thousand in total, some colours we haven't even seen in the UK taking photos tomorrow & will up-load to the website tomorrow 20:00 some items we have only 2 & some we have 40+. The small numbers will be listed here in the next few days as it is not worth crating new website pages for a few of one colour/type. Watch this space.

We are currently keeping up with all the orders seeing everything posted/couriered within one working day of being received & we will be posting right up to 16:00 on Christmas eve. However the post office already have a massive back log & things are not "getting there" at the usual speed & 90% of the items we sell go out with Royal Mail as they deliver anywhere (in UK) that has a post code for the same price, within their size/weight parameters.
Finally all of us at Sovereign would like to wish our loyal & valued customers a very happy & safe Christmas and Tight lines for 2021.
