Brin Pirathapan (Masterchef winner) spoke so passionately about his cookbook at the Appledore Book Festival that I had to have a look. Wow, the recipes look yummy! We have a copy in the shop - take a look next time you are in.

The shop will be closing at around 3.25 today as staff are heading down to Appledore to do afternoon tea with Helen Bain at the Appledore Book Festival. She will be talking about her novel, Daffodil Days, set in a Dartmoor village around the arrival of Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes - available in the shop now! Excited!!!
