We had a lovely time at our new 'mug & plate workshop on Saturday afternoon. Pressing lots of hedgerow plants into the clay slabs.
I love thinking about the symbolism of these beautiful flowers, we used lavender-faith,
Rosemary- clarity
Cow parsley - protection & solace.
As well as lots of woodblock stamps & lace.
Looking forwards to firing and glazing these lovely pots in a couple of weeks once they fully dried out. I'll post more photos of them then. Which plants would you imprint into your own breakfast plate?
