Safety is always our first priority. We specialise in Python, Probike, Bergamonts, Ridgeback, and Dawes bikes, Helmets and accessories. We have a fully equipped workshop and offer everything from puncture repairs to major overhauls. With every new bike purchased, you will receive a FREE 6 week, 6 month and 12 month service. Pop in and see us and have a friendly chat! We're sure we will be able to help you find what you are looking for. Feel free to ask about disability needs.

We are having a closing down sale as Les is finally going to retire! Everything must go. Pop down to see us and grab yourself or a loved one a bargain. Last day of trading is Christmas eve and we shall stay open until 4 pm. Last few new bikes left, a few second hand bikes, helmets and all other accessories. Dear valued customers and friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the end of an era.

As of the end of 24th December 2025, Pedals will be closing our doors for the last time, after 29 years of faithful service to our town.

We originally registered under The Ivel Cycle Company back in 1996 to help keep the name Ivel Cycles in the town, a name that is synonymous with Dan Albone, the inventor of the Ivel Safety Bicycle, however it is time for new adventures, and an opportunity for some rest and recuperation after many years of hard work.

We would like to offer thanks to our loyal customers, some of whom have been regulars since the very beginning, as well as everyone who has helped us on our way.

Our last day of trading will be 24th December 2025
