Appeal for traders after Biggleswade Flea Market cancelled

Sadly, due to low trader uptake, it is not currently viable to run these markets in Biggleswade. 😔
It's real shame as it could have amazing potential! It's a lovely spot in the town and visitors seemed to really enjoy the two markets last year, but it's tough out there at the moment for small businesses, and it can be hard slog attending events. Not even mentioning the sourcing, curating, researching and pricing that has to happen before you even pack up the car!
We hope to be back in Biggleswade in the near future but unfortunately there's no events for 2026.
Please support markets, events and small businesses if you can. They can't run otherwise!
Take care and hope to see you at the Bedford Flea, Affordable Art & Local Produce Market in the meantime.

The Biggleswade Flea market needs more traders to be viable - otherwise we risk not being able to go ahead this year. ☹️

All you will need is Public Liability Insurance to trade and your own tables!
Included in the pitch price of £50 is the use of 3x3m gazebo.

Hello! How have you all been?!

After a successful trial last year, the Biggleswade Flea Market returns on a monthly basis for 2026! 🎉

So from May to September you can find us on the first Saturday of the Month on Market Square alongside the charter market

AND! We are looking for traders! So if you are a trader, collector, buyer or a dabbler in antiques, vintage or retro items - we’d love to hear from you!

Whether it’s furniture, clothing, records, collectibles, toys, books, curiosities, architectural salvage - we want it all!

Biggleswade! We all had a great time at today’s flea market and we hope you did too.

Thanks to all of you that stopped by and supported us and of course a big thanks to my wonderful traders and for inviting us along.

We hope to see you in 2026 and if you can’t wait until then, then we’re back in Bedford next Sunday the 14th, 12th October & hopefully November & December too 🤞
