IT ACTUALLY WORKS 😍

It was my Dad's birthday a couple of days ago. I won't tell you how old he was, but I think the last cake he had made for him was for his 40th birthday. 33 years ago 🙀🤣.

My Dad is known to love a brandy (or three), so I decided to make him a barrel cake which actually works like a real barrel. See it work in the comments (only poured a tiny bit mind, I didn't want to waste any). He loved it 😍.

Not long after I decided on this cake, Dawn Butler - Dinkydoodle only brought out some amazing kits. One of which was to make.....a barrel cake! Wohooo. My prayers were answered and my life was made a whole lot easier!!!!

I was also fortunate enough to win one of Dawn's amazing airbrushes at CI, so the first time I picked up the airbrush, I crossed my fingers and went straight in on the cake. I couldn't decide if it was a brave or crazy move, but hey ho.

The airbrushing needs a bit of practice, but I was happy with the end result for a first attempt.

I think this simple ivory cake with the gorgeous little bears was ideal for a baby shower, and it fit with the theme perfectly 🥰.

This was a vanilla cake, with strawberry conserve and vanilla buttercream. It was covered with Renshaw fondant, and the models were made with Saracino pasta model.

I haven't got a clue on the world of golf, other than you wear white pants and a baseball cap, hit a ball, then drive around in a buggy looking for the ball 🤣. I'm guessing it's a lot more technical and extremely skillful given how much players can earn. If I was having a game of golf, I can guarantee I would end up knocking someone's teeth out when I've taken a swing, and accidentally lost my grip on the club....

I did enjoy making this golf bag, and nobody was hurt in the process, so that's a bonus 🙌.
