🐸⚽ Team Pondkeeper are taking on the beautiful game! ⚽🐸

On 26th August, 8 members of the Pondkeeper team will be playing in a charity football tournament to raise money for Tees Valley Wildlife Trust – a charity whose work protecting local wildlife is something we're proud to support.

We'll be giving it our all on the pitch, with Filbert joining us as our (very serious) team manager. 🐸💼

🚨 Hosepipe Ban? Don't panic, pond owners! 🐟💧

If you're affected by the current hosepipe restrictions, remember that fish welfare comes first. Many water companies allow exemptions for topping up ponds where it's necessary to protect fish and aquatic life - but the rules vary by supplier, so check yours first.

💦 Top tips:
• Use rainwater where possible.
• Top up little and often.
• Reduce splashing to limit evaporation.
• Keep an eye on water levels and fish health.
