Well after last week's posts, we can honestly say: Humanity’s relationship with weather optimism remains one of civilisation’s boldest recurring mistakes. “Looks lovely out” at 9am, biblical rain by lunch. Ancient curse. Best not poke the atmospheric goblin again.

So...we’re open today until 4pm, tomorrow 11–4, and Saturday 9–4 💚

The rails are looking especially lovely this week, including some gorgeous new green polka dot dresses that have just arrived in the boutique. You'll go dotty for these proper twirl-worthy little numbers.

Yesterday I clearly spoke too soon about the weather because five minutes later the sky unleashed storms, heavy rain, and enough drama to qualify as a British summer holiday ☔⛈️

SO… let’s try this again.

The sun is back out today, the shop is open, the dresses are looking fabulous, and Kitty Darling is once again full of flowers, colour, vintage glamour, and lovely little treasures waiting to be discovered.

Yesterday’s miserable weather can get in the bin because the sun is back out and Kitty Darling is looking blooming lovely today ☀️🌸

The shop’s full of colour, flowers, vintage glamour, swing dresses, rockabilly beauties, and plenty of little treasures waiting to be discovered. Honestly, the whole place looks like summer finally remembered we exist.

So if you fancy a wander, a browse, a try-on session, or just treating yourself to something gorgeous, come down and see us in Bilston today. Sometimes the best cure for grey skies is a fabulous dress and a bit of a twirl. Science probably supports this somewhere.

This week at Kitty Darling we’ve added something a little special alongside our usual swing, vintage, and rockabilly styles… 💍🤍

We currently have 8 new and pre-loved wedding dresses available in-store, and we’re really hoping they can help brides-to-be who want something beautiful without the eye-watering price tag that weddings often bring.

One of the dresses is especially incredible — a true designer vintage gown from 1992 made from pure ivory blush silk. Proper old-school elegance.

Each dress has its own personality and charm, and while a couple would benefit from a gentle clean and press to bring them fully back to their best, they all deserve another walk down the aisle instead of being tucked away forgotten in wardrobes forever.

If you or someone you know is planning a wedding on a budget, pop in and take a look. You might just find the one.

Who says glamour is only for special occasions? Our dresses are made for real life too — coffee runs, shopping trips, sunny strolls, and those little everyday moments that deserve a bit more sparkle.

Our new cover stars Anne and Nicky popped in last week, found their perfect dresses, and then did what all true Kitty Darling girls do… took them straight outside and owned the pavement.

Nothing staged. Nothing forced. Just two fabulous people feeling incredible in dresses that fit properly, flatter beautifully, and turn heads without even trying. That’s what we’re here for.

She’s baaaack… 💚

Our ever-popular Quatrefoil Mint Green Summer Dress has returned after selling out last year — and yes, she’s just as dreamy as you remember. That fresh mint shade, that flattering cut… it’s the kind of dress that turns “just popping out” into a full main-character moment.

We’ve also welcomed a beautiful cotton ‘Amanda’ style dress, sprinkled with delicate gold horoscope symbols. Cotton mix, cooler and just a little bit mystical — perfect for summer days when you want something easy but unforgettable.
