UPDATE: Market way is open so can acces the market at all entrances. Bilston Indoor and outdoor market are open, there. There is a burst water main on the high street which is affected the entrance from the High Street but the other two entrances are open, please access the market from there

Shoppers and visitors to Wednesfield will soon be able to enjoy a fresh new look on the High Street, with the first phase of modern market stalls now installed and traders set to start actively using them next week.

The new purpose-built stalls have replaced the previous outdated units, creating a more attractive, welcoming and consistent market environment while providing improved facilities for traders.
The installation forms part of ongoing investment in Wednesfield town centre and complements the major High Street improvement works being delivered by City of Wolverhampton Council, which remain on track for completion later this year.

Funded largely through the Government's Pride in Place Impact Fund, the new stalls will help support local traders, enhance the shopping experience and boost activities in the town centre.
