Quietly rebuilding

Not the website… myself.

The last few months have been hard. I’ve questioned whether to reopen the website, whether to close the business completely, and whether anything I create is actually good enough.

There have been tears, stress, and more self-doubt than I’d like to admit.

I’m not at the finish line. I haven’t suddenly found loads of confidence or got everything figured out. But little by little, I’m rebuilding. I’m learning to trust my ideas again, believe in what I’m creating, and remember why I started this in the first place.

Sometimes the biggest thing we build isn’t a business… it’s ourselves.

So I’ve shown up, I’m starting slowly, imperfectly… one day at a time 🤍

Creative block is hitting hard right now! 🤦‍♀️

I’ve spent so much time trying to get the perfect product photos that I’m honestly close to pulling my hair out. Every time I think, “That’s the one!” I find something else wrong with it. The lighting’s off, the background isn’t quite right, the angle could be better, the label looks wonky… and round we go again. 🙃

The ridiculous thing is, I know I just need to take the photo, upload the product, and move on with my life. But apparently my brain has decided we’re now aiming for a level of perfection that simply doesn’t exist. 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who suffers from creator’s block/perfectionism? How do you get past it and actually hit the ‘post’ button??!!
