Another project completed in Birchington! ✅

We’ve just finished installing Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring in two bedrooms, delivering a stylish and durable finish.

Before fitting the new floor, we tackled rising moisture by installing an F. Ball F77 Damp Proof Membrane, followed by F. Ball Stopgap 1500 smoothing compound to create the perfect subfloor.

The finished floor is the stunning Nordikka Original Range – Shale Oak, featuring a beautiful micro-bevel edge, a hard-wearing 0.55mm wear layer, and the reassurance of a lifetime residential warranty.

A job we completed this week out in Ash. We installed the fabulous J2flooring Natural timbers range in colour blonde oak to this conversion👌🏻

We used ardex.uk K40 flow to create a smooth subfloor to install the LVT and then used their high temperature adhesive AF195 due to the bifolding doors ☀️

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter!!
The underlay and grippers are pivotal for the lifespan of your brand new carpet!
Here’s some pictures of an install this week with a 10mm ultra high density underlay 👌🏻
We complemented the thickness of the underlay by using deep base diamond 💎 grippers.
This helps with no dip around the perimeter of the room when using thicker underlays. We raised the door bars aswell to ensure the carpet is in contact with the pins to keep it in place.
All this underneath cormarcarpets Malabar wool 🐑 loop carpet will last for years to come! 🙌🏻

In the USA it is normal practise to have the carpet take the full shape of the stairs and not have the “waterfall” effect that is traditionally used over here.
These pictures are from a job we completed in Ramsgate showcasing that with a wool loop carpet. All prepared on top quality 9mm underlay and diamond 💎 gripperrods with new door bars.

A communal hall, stairs and landing completed this week in Broadstairs. We uplifted the old and tired flooring and replaced with this hard wearing supacord carpet in colour Sherwood 🟢
We used F3 adhesive to stick the carpet all over to ensure a long lasting install.
We also including a coir matting at the entrance.
