🧙‍♂️🏔️ MAGIC EVENTS ARE LEVELING UP AT THE ATTIC! 🏔️🧙‍♂️

We’ve finalised a whole run of upcoming Magic: The Gathering events, and with The Hobbit arriving in August, there’s a LOT to look forward to! 👀

From August onwards, we’re aiming to run an additional Friday or Saturday Magic event every two weeks, alternating between the two — giving our community even more chances to play.

Themed Commander games following a story, complete with special rules, mini-games, tracking sheets and promos!

🤝 Saturday 29th August
Two-Headed Giant Commander
Grab a teammate for some 2v2 Commander, sharing a 60-life total — with promos available too!

💎 Friday 4th September
Heart of the Mountain: Arkenstone Event
A special Commander format where the Arkenstone changes hands through combat. Hold it during your upkeep to score — first player to 3 points wins! 👀

💚 MONDAY MAGIC PLAYERS:
From August, if you’ve paid to play at Magic Monday, you won’t need to pay again for that week’s additional Friday/Saturday event — excluding Prereleases. Any extra support is always hugely appreciated!

We are incredibly excited to announce that The Adventurer’s Attic is now an official Riftbound Nexus Nights Organised Play store! 👀

Starting on Wednesday evenings, we’ll be bringing the growing Riftbound community together for regular organised play, games, and everything Riftbound: League of Legends TCG!

Anything goes.

That model that’s been sitting in your pile of potential for two years? Paint it.

That massive centrepiece you’ve been looking for an excuse to start? Paint it.

A squad? A tank? A dragon? A character? Something completely ridiculous?

August is all about painting whatever you fancy and getting another project out of that backlog!

There’s basically only one…

👉 Maximum 10 models per entry.

That’s it!

• Any game system

We’re getting ready to celebrate the release of Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit, with our first events beginning during Prerelease weekend from Saturday 8th August, ahead of the full release on Friday 14th August!

Whether you’re joining Bilbo on his first adventure, searching for treasure beneath the Lonely Mountain, or hoping to face Smaug himself, there’ll be plenty of ways to get involved.

🎨⚔️ KIDS WARHAMMER CLUB – BUILD, PAINT & PLAY! ⚔️🎨

This summer, we’re launching a brand-new Kids Warhammer Club at The Adventurer’s Attic!

Across five weekly sessions, young hobbyists will learn how to:

🔨 Build their own miniatures
🎨 Paint them using guided techniques
🎲 Learn the rules and play exciting games of Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigmar

The club is designed for children and young people aged 16 and under, whether they’re completely new to Warhammer or already starting their hobby journey.

📅 Starting Thursday 30th July
🕛 Thursdays, 12pm–2pm
🎟️ £25 upfront club fee
📍 The Adventurer’s Attic, Pyramids Shopping Centre

Your £25 club fee includes:

✅ Access to all five guided sessions
✅ A paint and miniature set to keep
✅ One drink included at every session
✅ Guidance with building, painting and playing

We understand that summer schedules can be busy, so members can attend whichever sessions suit them. However, we ask that participants attend at least three of the five sessions to get the full benefit of the club.

Spaces will be limited, so send us a message or speak to us in-store to register.
